Great sign, but be prepared for a frustrating film removal

The sign itself looks great and is good quality, but the protective film was incredibly difficult to remove — more like a stuck-on label than a peel-off layer. It took me 20 minutes of careful scratching after I had already mounted it with $20 worth of Gorilla outdoor double-sided tape. I ended up having to take it down, remove the film, buy more tape from Mitre 10, and reinstall it. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to put it straight up — remove the film first

If you ever find the film difficult to remove, warming it slightly with a hairdryer can help loosen the adhesive. You can also use a plastic scraper, credit card, or a pointed object to lift the edges. For any leftover adhesive, a non-greasy nail polish remover, industrial alcohol, or even a standard eraser can often do the trick. Our signs are 3 mm thick.

No. You’ll need to specify that you do want holes drilled into your sign. While we recommend them for display, we do recognise that some of our customers prefer a hole-free look, so we don’t drill by default.

On our largest sizes, 1200 x 900 mm and 900 x 600 mm, a total of 6 holes will be drilled – a hole in each corner, plus 2 in the middle. For other sizes, a total of 4 holes will be drilled – 1 in each corner.

We recommend occasionally cleaning the sign front with mild soap and water.
