Are your kids stuck at home doing distance learning because of school closures due to the COVID-19 virus? The first thing you need to do is to get them on a schedule and I’ve got you covered with these printable schedules.
A set schedule will save you so many fights and headaches. And let you work from home if necessary.
I recommend you block out the schedule and if possible, let your kids decide what school work to do in what order. This choice and flexibility give kids some semblance of control in an uncontrollable situation that feels scary to many children.
Of course, use your best judgment on breaks and movement — the more the better!
