Cat-loving kids will love the new Kitty Bitty memory game from Blue Orange Games! This learning game, for ages 4 and up, practices memory skills and helps with color matching. The game pieces are all wooden and colorful, making it feel very wholesome and classic. I played this game with my two kids and husband. We all liked it!
Set up is easy — just put the eyes on the cats then set out the yarn balls around the cats with the basket for the end.
On your turn, you’ll roll the two die. Then, match the colors on the dice to the correct cat. Pink and yellow if you’re using the roll in the photo below. Color recognition!
Once you have the correct cat, turn over one of the kitty’s eyes. If there is nothing on the eye, the player moves his or her kitten forward one yarn ball space and gets to go again. Yay!
But, if you turn over an eye with a kitten, your turn is done.
The winner of the game is the first player to get to the basket.
Isn’t this such an adorable game? It’s a sweet, cat-centric twist on the traditional memory game for preschoolers and elementary schoolers.
Don’t you love the wooden pieces? And colors?
My kids are way too old for this game but they still found it to be a fun game to play with the family and recommended it to you, too.
